I spent an lovely three nights at Dreamcatcher Eco Lodge, soaking in the beautiful nature and really good hospitality. The food was divine, especially the lobster ravioli, though sometimes a bit pricey for my budget. While the lack of hot water was a serious downside, the stunning views and cozy private cabins made up for many of the inconveniences.

Liesel was excellent, helping me arrange transport and giving great tips on local tours. However, there were moments when I felt the service could have been more proactive, especially regarding maintenance issues.

Nestled right in nature, the location is stunning, with easy access to the river and surrounding wildlife. However, getting around could be tricky without help or clearer instructions for calling water taxis.

The restaurant served some of the best meals I've ever had, particularly the breakfasts. Still, the prices were quite high, making it tough for someone on a budget like me.

I appreciated the availability of kayaks and other amenities, but the absence of a pool left me wanting more options during the day.

I had a mixed experience at Dreamcatcher Eco Lodge. The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and right on the water. However, we faced issues like no hot water, expensive food options, and a lack of transparency with pricing. Overall, it felt like the lodge had potential but was let down by several operational shortcomings.

However, I encountered issues with service that left me wanting more, especially regarding the itinerary flexibility and some room comfort concerns.

I stayed in the Jaguar Suite, which was beautifully designed and offered a pleasant air conditioning system. though it did have issues like a torn bathroom window mesh and a lack of curtains that made morning sleep difficult.

The staff, especially Liesel, were helpful in arranging things like the water taxi, but I felt a bit at the mercy of their schedules. especially when our boat trip offered no flexibility for timing.

The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (shoutout to Liesel for her assistance!). However, the dining options felt a bit pricey for my budget, and I encountered issues with hot water during my stay. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there are areas for improvement.

I stayed in the Jaguar room, which was lovely and well-decorated. However, I noticed that the dormitory accommodations could use some updates, particularly the mosquito nets, as they had holes. This impacted the comfort of the stay for other guests in that area.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, always eager to assist with tour planning and arranging water taxis. However, I did feel a lack of responsiveness to specific issues, such as the hot water situation during my stay.

The lodge's location right on the lake in the jungle was amazing, providing a perfect getaway. It was easily accessible by water taxi, making it a unique experience. Just be prepared to manage transportation on your own if needed.

The food at the lodge was exquisite, particularly the lobster ravioli and shrimp papadelle I had on my last night (absolute must-tries!). However, the prices felt a bit steep for budget travelers like me. I found more affordable options across the waterway at Boutique.

While the lodge had some excellent features, I wished for a pool to relax during the day. The lack of a reception desk also made some aspects of my stay feel a bit disorganized, especially organizing water taxis.
